Since the integration of Jia Jie Biomedical Co., Ltd. (the "Company") into the TSG Group in 2020, the new management team has not only focused on enhancing production scale and profitability but has also engaged in deeper reflection on how the Company can pursue growth while maintaining a balanced approach to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) development. We recognize that sustainability has become a global trend and a key driver of long-term corporate competitiveness. In response to global market dynamics, evolving regulatory frameworks, and stakeholders’ expectations, Jia Jie Biomedical is committed not only to delivering high-quality, health-oriented products, but also to embedding sustainability principles into our business model—acting through concrete actions to meet social needs and fulfill our responsibilities as a corporate citizen.

Forward-Looking Sustainability Strategies and Actions

We have developed a systematic and long-term sustainability strategy focusing on five major areas: corporate governance, environmental process management, circular economy, employee well-being, and social inclusion.

Corporate Governance:
We continue to strengthen internal governance mechanisms, establish robust risk management and compliance systems, and ensure transparent and effective decision-making—thereby enhancing corporate value and protecting shareholder interests.
Environmental Protection and Process Management:
The Company is progressively adopting green manufacturing practices, conducting regular greenhouse gas inventories, and evaluating the use of renewable energy to reduce carbon footprints and mitigate climate change impacts.
Social Inclusion and Community Engagement:
We actively care for disadvantaged groups and collaborate with social welfare organizations such as the Huashan Social Welfare Foundation to carry out donation programs and community initiatives—demonstrating our commitment to social responsibility.
Employee Well-being and Talent Development:
We are dedicated to creating a friendly and fulfilling workplace, offering competitive compensation and benefits, career development planning, and comprehensive health management programs. Employees are also encouraged to participate in ESG-related training to strengthen our collective sustainability capabilities.
Circular Economy Initiatives:
Guided by the principle of “minimizing resource waste,” JIA JIE Biomedical incorporates circular economy concepts into product design, packaging, and waste management.

In 2024, we transitioned entirely to environmentally friendly POF and PET packaging materials, replacing traditional PVC to improve recyclability. We also continuously assess the reuse potential of by-products and production scrap, collaborating with suppliers to implement recycling mechanisms and resource regeneration strategies. These efforts are part of our long-term pursuit of Zero Waste Management and the 2030 carbon neutrality goal.

Future Outlook

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Taiwan’s Net Zero Emissions Policy, we have integrated ESG factors into our corporate decision-making and established clear timelines for sustainability implementation:

Short-Term (2024–2025):
Strengthen internal sustainability management through data-driven systems and greenhouse gas reduction targets to ensure transparent carbon management.
Mid-Term (2025–2028):
Enhance sustainable supply chain management, promote eco-friendly production, increase the proportion of green products, and advance digital transformation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Long-Term (Beyond 2028):
Achieve low-carbon transformation through circular economy practices, adoption of renewable energy technologies, and continuous progress toward carbon footprint reduction and carbon neutrality.
