Jiajie Biomedical and Chi Mei Hospital Join Forces to Open a New Chapter in Obstetric-Medical Collaboration: Chi Mei Hospital's Negative Pressure Animal Laboratory Officially Opens

The "Negative Pressure Animal Laboratory of Chi Mei Hospital," funded by Taiwan Steel Group, has been officially put into use. Through this laboratory, Chi Mei Biomedical has deepened its cooperation with Chi Mei Hospital, strengthened the connection between scientific research and clinical practice, and promoted the innovative development of nutritional health products.

The "Chi Mei Hospital Negative Pressure Animal Laboratory," fully funded by the Taiwan Steel Group, was officially opened today (29th) with a plaque unveiling ceremony. The ceremony was jointly presided over by Hsieh Yu-min, Chairman of the Taiwan Steel Group, and Lin Hung-jung, Superintendent of Chi Mei Hospital, Chi Mei Medical Foundation, symbolizing the collaboration between the corporate and medical communities to create a new milestone in biomedical research and development. The opening of this high-standard facility not only demonstrates the solid results of industry-medical cooperation but also opens up a broader scope for Chi Mei Biomedical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Taiwan Steel Group, in scientific research and clinical applications.

Jiajie Biomedical has long been deeply involved in the field of turtle nutritional supplements, possessing over 30 years of R&D and industry experience. This collaboration with Chi Mei Hospital to establish a negative pressure animal laboratory will help strengthen the group's biomedical sector's foundation in clinical trials, product verification, and scientific innovation, and provide an opportunity for Jiajie Biomedical to build closer partnerships with major medical centers.


Chi Mei Hospital, a subsidiary of Chi Chi Biotech, points out that it possesses top-notch research facilities and capabilities, and the two parties have a history of successful technology licensing and joint development of probiotic health products. This collaboration, facilitated by donations from Taiwan Steel Group and the integration of medical resources, moves towards a more institutionalized and long-term partnership, which will help to continuously launch scientifically validated, innovative products that meet consumers' health needs.


At the unveiling ceremony, Jiajie Biomedical CEO Hsieh Wen-Fang and General Manager Tseng Ming-Chien stated that they will continue to uphold the core values of "diligence, professionalism, and discipline" of the Taiwan Steel Group, and take "natural and local, science-based, and health-first" as the core of their brand.
