Taiwan Steel Group's subsidiary, Jiajie Biomedical (4109), upholding the philosophy of "protecting public health and giving back to the local community," donated 195 Japanese-made moisture-absorbing mats and 100 boxes of calendula lutein-filled gummies on the 28th, representing the Huashan Social Welfare Foundation's mission of public service. General Manager Tseng Ming-chuan personally represented the company in this donation. This initiative not only provides essential living necessities for disadvantaged seniors but also supports the Huashan Social Welfare Foundation's fundraising efforts, aiming to provide more comprehensive assistance and a more comfortable and healthy later life for the elderly.
Jiajie Biomedical stated that many elderly people living alone or with limited financial resources face numerous untold difficulties in their daily lives, especially in rural areas and resource-scarce regions. These elderly individuals often lack adequate care and support, a situation that demands even greater attention given Taiwan's increasingly aging population. Last year's donation drive received a tremendous response, making Jiajie Biomedical deeply realize that a company's influence extends beyond its products; it extends this care to every corner of society.
Since its establishment in 1999, the Huashan Social Welfare Foundation has been deeply rooted in nearly 400 communities across Taiwan, providing services such as meal delivery, companionship, and material assistance through local "Angel Stations of Love," accompanying the elderly through their lonely and helpless years. In addition to donating daily necessities, Jiajie Biotech also responded to the foundation's needs by donating 100 boxes of Marigold Lutein-filled Gummies, hoping to help promote charitable activities, attract more members of the public to participate in caring for the elderly, and form a continuous cycle of love.
